Yoga offers physical and mental health benefits for people of all ages. And, if you are going through an illness, recovering from a surgery, or living with a chronic condition, yoga can become an integral part of your treatment and potentially hasten healing.
1. Improves strength, balance, and flexibility. Slow movements and deep breathing increase blood flow and warm up muscles, while holding a pose can build strength.
2. Yoga benefits heart health. Regular yoga practice may reduce levels of stress, and body-wide inflammation, contributing to healthier hearts.
3. Yoga can mean more energy and brighter moods. After getting into a routine of yoga, you may feel increased mental and physical energy, a boost in alertness and enthusiasm and fewer negative feelings.
4. Yoga connects you with a supportive community. Participating in yoga classes can ease loneliness and provide an environment for group healing and support. Even during a one-on-one session loneliness is reduced as one is acknowledged as a unique individual, being listened to, and participating in the creation of personalized yoga plan.
The relaxation techniques incorporated in yoga can lessen chronic pain, such as lower back pain, arthritis, headaches, and carpal tunnel syndrome, among others, you can also lower blood pressure and reduce insomnia.

Hatha yoga. Mother of all styles, experience asanas (postures/movements) through holding, flowing, and relaxing your body. Finish the practice with pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation.

Gentle yoga. Therapeutic approach using asanas (posture/movements) to restore the balance, mobility and learn ways to take care of joints, back (posture), mental and emotional stability.

Chair yoga. Because you don’t have to lay down on the ground or hold yourself on one leg to become aware of your body, strengthen it up and improve your relationship with mind and soul. Tighten up your core, strengthen muscles, stretch your back, relax, and meditate with support.

Stand Up Paddle board yoga. It’s a magical experience to float and flow with the movements of nature while become aware of the movements of our body and mind. Enjoy a magical connection with nature.

Pranayama and meditation. Prana is the life force energy, learn to use it as a mind and body healing tool. Meditation happens when we detach from thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations; we will use pranayama as the door to meditation.

Guided meditation. There are many types of meditation. Guided meditations will show you different ways to use your power of concentration to get into Meditation. Mantras, chakras, blessings, relaxation techniques, Twin heart, Full or new moon meditation. We will learn the philosophy behind each type of meditation and how to practice it.

Yoga Nidra. More than a class is a time for you to allow complete relaxation of your body, to learn how to work through insomnia with awareness and how to bring the best of resting even when sleep is not coming.

Neti Pot. Learn how to use the Neti to clean up sinuses, cleaning up your breathing channels clear the mind and delivers more oxygen and prana to all your systems.
